Short Term Disability

Short Term Disability (STD) or what is often referred to as Weekly Disability Income (WDI) Insurance covers disabilities with a relatively short duration, typically 30 days to six months. STD is written to provide coverage for either disabilities occurring off the job (non-occupational coverage), or disabilities occurring both on and off the job (full-occupational coverage).
